These Terms govern all online purchases and use of the Bamboo Down Under website.
By placing an order, you confirm you are over 18 and legally capable of entering into binding contracts.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time.
2. Products & Availability
All plants are living products and natural variations may occur.
Product descriptions, imagery, sizes and availability are provided as a guide only.
Prices are in AUD and include GST unless stated otherwise.
We reserve the right to change prices and stock availability without notice.
3. Orders & Payment
Orders are confirmed once payment has been processed.

Estimated availability dates are approximate and may vary due to growing and seasonal conditions.
4. Delivery & Pickup
Pickup
Free pickup available from our nursery in Wongawallan, QLD.
You will receive notification when your order is ready for collection.
Delivery
Delivery fees apply and vary by location.

Living plants may experience minor cosmetic changes during transit.
We are not responsible for delays caused by couriers, weather, or external factors.
Upon Delivery
Please inspect your order immediately.
If there are issues, notify us within 24 hours with photos.
5. Live Plant Guarantee
We strive to supply healthy, high-quality plants.
However, once plants leave our care, factors beyond our control affect plant health including: Mishandling by couriers & carriers
Incorrect planting or soil conditions
Improper watering or fertilising
Pests, disease or poor weather
Neglect or environmental conditions
Therefore, we do not offer refunds or replacements for change of mind, plant care issues, or death after delivery.
We may offer goodwill support at our discretion.
6. Returns & Refunds
We comply with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for major faults where:
The product is significantly different from the description, OR
The product is damaged or unhealthy on arrival, AND you notify us within 24 hours with photos.
Please note:
Change-of-mind refunds do not apply to live plants.
Returning live plants carries inherent risks, including exposure to fire ants, pests, or disease, which may affect the plant’s health during transit. For this reason, live plants are non-returnable.

Live plants (due to risk of pests, disease, and plant health in transit)

Gift cards
7. Plant Care Responsibilty
Once plants are delivered or collected, the customer is responsible for:
Correct planting
Adequate watering
Maintenance, pest & disease management
Frost, heat & wind protection if required
Care guides and advice are available on request and via our website.
8. Website Use & Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including:
Text, images, product descriptions
Logos, branding, design
Educational materials
is the property of Bamboo Down Under and may not be copied or used without permission.
9. Privacy & Data
We respect your privacy and handle information in line with our Privacy Policy.
Personal information is used only for order processing, communication and service improvement.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
Bamboo Down Under is not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
No guarantee is provided regarding plant performance in your environment.
