CONGRATULATIONS TO NARELLE & GRAEME ON THEIR BEAUTIFUL ASIAN INSPIRED GARDEN We had a totally bare small front yard and wanted to turn it into an Asian style. We have always loved the effect of bamboo but were wary of using plants as we didn't know much about non invasive Bamboo. We read about Bamboo Down Under, and went hunting!!! The staff were amazing and we felt we had the information to start. We bought China Gold, 2 Timor Black, Silver Stripe and a Golden Painted, the last two we left in pots and are going great, the others we planted out have grown fantastic. They are only 18 mths old!! We have sandy soil and I encourage them with Seasol and use sugar cane mulch. Thank you for helping us make our yard into a beautiful show piece. Bamboo Converts Narelle and Graeme SOME GREAT RESULTS FROM CUSTOMERS DIANE & GRANT Our “Gracilis” started out as a very small 200mm pot which Grant thought would never survive, let alone thrive to this degree!! He estimates it to be about 5mtrs tall with about 50 culms. It just goes to show that good ground preparation is the key!
We have had the bamboo for about 14 months and they have grown so much. The tallest has been planted in 2 feet of Organic Top Soil. The others have been grown in Minimal Organic Top Soil in holes. These were all planted at the same time and watered just as much.”
MORE GREAT RESULTS FROM OUR HAPPY CUSTOMERS - SHANE AND DEBRA We recently purchased a house on what was called a “bush block” in Shailer Park and set about turning the block into a livable space to enjoy QLDS outdoor lifestyle. After we completed the DIY outdoor setting area we needed a fast inexpensive method of creating a screen to provide privacy. After visiting Bamboo Down Under it was suggested that we try a bamboo screen as it was fast growing, cooling and attractive. We settled on Gracilis and it has provided the result that we were chasing as our 4 plants have only been in since March 2009.
