Pinstripe Ginger is a stunning plant with masses of thin white stripes on the leaves. It is not a very vigerous grower due to the amount of white variation on the leaves that reduces the amount of sunlight it can absorb, however when fully grown is a stunning mass of wide leaves with a white cluster flower.
Uses: Pinstripe Ginger is fantastic mass planted to form a feature of foliage and flowers. It is great as a garden filler to fill any empty spot in the garden.
Planting: Pinstripe Ginger definitely requires a semi-shady position in the garden. Plant in a well prepared garden bed with compost mixed through. Fertilise regularly to maintain good health and promote regular flowering. Trim out once a year to promote fresh new growth.
